Delivery Rates

Mainland UK

Standard Delivery (3-5 working days) is FREE within mainland UK on all orders over £100.00

All goods over £100.00 are despatched using a courier and will require a signature on receipt.

Items will be received within 5 working days of receiving your order, subject to payment being cleared. In the unlikely event of a delay in the despatch of your item we will call you to arrange an alternative delivery date. If you would not like to wait for your globe you can cancel your order. There will be no charge for a cancellation provided the goods have not been shipped. If the goods are in transit or you have received them, please refer to our returns policy.

Standard Delivery (3-5 working days) is £3.49 within mainland UK on all orders less than £100.00

All goods are shipped using courier or (if suitable, such as an inflatable globe which can easily be posted) by First Class Royal Mail. If the globe is shipped by Royal Mail then a signature is not required. An order of small items (inflatables, mini globes etc) with an order value exceeding £100.00 will be shipped by courier and require a signature. Larger items with a value less than £100.00 may be shipped by courier at our discretion.

Fast Delivery (2-3 working days) is £5.95 within mainland UK on all orders.

Items will be received within 3 working days of receiving your order, subject to payment being cleared. In the unlikely event of a delay in the despatch of your item we will call you to arrange an alternative delivery date. If you would not like to wait for your globe you can cancel your order. There will be no charge for a cancellation provided the goods have not been shipped. If the goods are in transit or you have received them, please refer to our returns policy.

Next Working Day (If Ordered Before 12pm) within mainland UK on all orders.

Items are sent via next day courier service with a charge of £11.95 . Items are sent subject to payment being cleared. Items will require a signature on receipt.

If next working day delivery is not possible you will be contacted via telephone to arrange for alternative delivery (with a refund of £11.95) or full refund. If we cannot contact you via telephone, an email will be sent to you advising that we have temporarily cancelled your order until you can be contacted via phone.

Please note: Saturdays are not counted as working days. An order placed on Friday afternoon will be shipped on Monday and be delivered on Tuesday (the next working day). If a Saturday morning delivery is required, please contact us for a quotation on +44 (0)1536 262634.

Saturday & Sunday Deliveries (ordered before 12.00 noon on Friday) are £14.95 within mainland UK on all orders.

Items will be delivered on the following Saturday/Sunday, subject to payment being cleared. If the delivery is not possible, you will be contacted via telephone or email to arrange for alternative delivery and refund of £14.95. You can cancel your order at any time before dispatch.


Outside Mainland UK

A courier service is used where a signature is required on receipt of goods for orders over £34.95.

Scottish Highlands & Islands (2-3 working days) is £9.95

Northern Ireland (2-3 working days) is £14.95

Republic of Ireland (2-4 working days) is £14.95

Isle of Wight (3-5 working days) is £14.95

Isle of Man (3-5 working days) is £29.95

Channel Islands (2-3 working days) is £19.95

PLEASE NOTE: Large items may incur an additional delivery charge. In this case the customer will be contacted by phone in order to process the outstanding amount before the item is shipped. Also all items shipped outside the EU may incur import duties all of which must be paid by the customer on receipt of the item or the item will be sent back to us at a charge of £30 to the customer.

Delivery problems

The courier will deliver between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday to Friday. It is the responsibility of the customer to be available when they deliver. Customers in mainland UK who have supplied us with a valid email address, will receive an email from the courier (Interlink Express) with tracking information when the goods have been collected from us as well as an email on the day of delivery that gives a 1-hour time slot. If no-one is available to sign for the goods, the courier will leave a calling card for you to arrange re-delivery or you can collect from the local depot. We regret that this service is currently not available outside mainland UK. If the courier is unable to deliver the product within 5 workings days of the original delivery attempt, the item is sent back to us and the customer will be charge £15. This will be deducted from a refund or charged before the item is sent out for re-delivery.

Although we have chosen our couriers very carefully, problems can sometimes occur. The Globes.co.uk customer services team will assist as much as they can with any delivery problems. However Globes.co.uk is not responsible for any delays caused by the courier company or other delays that are beyond our control. Neither are we liable for any losses incurred due to late delivery.
